My investigation was to uncover the beauty in the game of golf - the reason countless people that return to the sport. My inquiry question was “What makes the peaceful game of golf so beautiful and exciting?” While this statement contradicts itself with peace being exciting, but that is how golf is. Golfers spend much of their time playing walking to their shot and preparing to hit, but each shot is exciting to hit, and each shot is just as important. Images of golf lack the action many sports pictures have so I focused on creating action. This is where my blended images make up the organized chaos that make people awe at many sports images. The blends are not random, but instead encompass different parts of the game sometimes 400 yards apart into singular images. The sport of golf does not live up to these action-packed images, so I balanced them with peaceful images of an individual player or the course.
